The excitement of this successful and anxiously awaited community event takes place outdoors in the heart of the downtown historical district of Santa Fe Avenue on the 100-300 blocks in the City of Placentia.
This family community event in Placentia has the distinction of being the largest organized Tamale Festival in Orange County featuring the very popular traditional home-style tamales. The smell and aroma of these handcrafted food items fill the air with holiday joy and excitement drawing close to 15,000 persons on this evening!

Yesterday the Windermere Family gathered together to celebrate its second annual Thanksgiving Potluck! Agents, staff and affiliates came together to welcome the season of thanks with delicious food and kind-hearted friends. With delicious homemade treats made by staff and agents, it was surely a great time for the office to give thanks for our business and one another.
Eli Home Holiday Season Collection
November 18, 2011 Comments OffWith the holiday season commencing this month, it’s the perfect time of year to come together and do something great for those less fortunate. Since early this summer, Windermere has been in support of a wonderful organization, the Eli Home, a shelter for abused women and children. Living in an extremely prosperous place such as Orange County, we many times forget that there are numerous families in need living in the same cities we do. Located in the heart of Orange County, the very place many of us work in and call home, the Eli Home provides an opportunity for us as a community to come together and support those in need.
The Eli Home is a comprehensive faith based organization with 3 shelter facilities, a thrift store social enterprise, a place-based initiative called ESCRI, corporate offices, professional counseling and therapy staff, organizational staff, dedicated volunteers, board members with a history of national acknowledgment including that of George Bush and Bill Clinton. Unlike many shelters that fill up and cannot provide assistance to every family in need, the Eli Home’s goal is to never fail to assist those who reach out to it. Windermere lovingly sponsors their mission: to welcome, shelter, comfort, heal, encourage and strengthen victims of child abuse and neglect, and to prepare them to reenter the community to lead stable, non-violent lives, free from fear and intimidation to break the cycle of child abuse.
